We invite aspiring young minds to seize this opportunity of a lifetime. As a non-political, not-for-profit initiative in Kenya, we are dedicated to empowering you through mentorship and internships.

Eligibility Criteria

If you meet the following criteria, you're eligible to apply:

  • Completed a TVET or Bachelor's degree program in any public or private institution of learning in Kenya.
  • Aged between 22 and 26.
  • Demonstrated a willingness to offer practical solutions to challenges within your immediate social ecosystem, such as through volunteering and community project participation.

Note: No prior experience is required to apply for or be part of this program.

Important to note:

  1. The InMySteps Internship program is offered at no cost to the intern.
  2. No fees are charged for application, joining, participation, or any other stage in the program.
  3. Application windows open in February-March and July-August each year.
  4. All applications must be submitted in the prescribed format and platform to be admissible. Applications sent in any other way or before the window opens will not be considered.
  5. An InMySteps Internship runs for a minimum of 12 weeks (or 3 calendar months) from the date of posting to the host organization, with an additional 2 weeks split between pre-internship and exit stages.
